Darsh Model Degree College, Gohana (Sonepat) Haryana is a prestigious co-educational institution which is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana (Letter no:- CB-XIV/F-427/2016/23133, dated:- 14/10/2016) was established in 2016 by Darsh Education and Welfare Society, Rohtak (HR/RTK/14/593, Distt. Registrar, Rohtak, Haryana), Haryana in rural area after taking recognition/approval from Director- General Higher Education, Haryana (letter no:-12/30-2014 CII (3), dated: - 09/01/2015) so that a qualitative education may be provided to the students nearest to their homes and villages. The college offers under-graduates programs in three streams (Arts, Commerce and Science) and admission in all programs are done as per the guidelines and schedule of Director General Higher Education, Haryana and affiliating university without any discrimination; it is opened for all stratum of society for education.
The college has a sprawling campus of 06 acres land, well stocked library which has rich collection of books and periodicals, spacious lecture theatres, computer laboratory, excellent sports facilities, all types of laboratories, conference room and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled to provide the students and teachers free uninterrupted access to internet connectivity. The students are taught and guided in such a way by a team of well qualified, experienced and farsighted teachers so that they can cope with the challenging and rapidly changing environment of the society and can make a bright and successful career. The college is governed by the governing body headed by the President of Darsh Education and Welfare Society, Rohtak, Haryana and the college is headed by the Principal responsible for administrative and academic affairs of the institution.
